Tanya Medina

Biography

 I am a licensed life and health agent serving the San Antonio and Austin area. This area includes the surrounding counties of Atascosa, Bandera, Blanco, Comal, Frio, Guadalupe, Hays, and Wilson counties. I come from a family of life and health agents as my mother and sisters are also licensed. I have specialized in Medicare since 2019 and I have loved every moment of it. One of my favorite stories about Connie Health is how the name came to be Connie Health. One of our founder’s grandmother was named Connie and he decided to name it after her because he wanted our clients to be treated like family. When his mother was having to care for her, there were so many times he had to watch her leave the room when she was in hospice to figure out if the insurance was going to cover the costs of the medical care. He felt that there had to be a better way to understand Medicare options and so ConnieHealth was formed.  My grandmother is so special to me and I hope that we can be that special resource for you as well. I am formally educated as a licensed professional counselor-associate and so I take my role seriously, in that I want to provide the very best plan options for my clients and help them decide what’s best for their situation.  I have experience working in a clinical setting and am knowledgeable about the ins and out of how medicare products function within a clinic and when filling prescriptions at the pharmacy. I was born and raised here in San Antonio; obtained my Bachelor's degree from St. Mary’s and my Master’s degree from UTSA. I enjoy spending time with my family and three loving dogs and jumping into the waters of Barton Springs and the Frio river when our summer temperatures reach 100 plus.
